BIM on site: the model as a tool for building.

We work with contractors and developers to use the model during construction: simulation of the construction process, control of as-built versus as-designed, and material quantities.

What it is

As-designed and as-built, in the same model.

On site, the BIM model stops being just a design: it becomes the basis for planning, controlling and documenting construction.

We link the model to the construction schedule, verify on site what's built versus what's designed, and update the model with the changes until it's as-built.

What you avoid

  • Construction sequences that weren't reviewed beforehand
  • Differences between what's built and what's designed
  • Take-offs that don't match the site
  • Site changes nobody records
  • An as-built that doesn't reflect the real building
What we deliver

Information for decisions on site.

Construction simulation

The construction sequence linked to the schedule (Gantt), with the option to assign costs to work items.

Construction control

Review of as-built versus as-designed, supported by the model and surveys.

Material measurement

Take-offs from the model to estimate costs and control work items.

As-built model

The model updated with the changes made on site.

How we work

We support construction from start to finish.

1

Base model

We review or develop the project's coordinated model.

2

Planning

We link the model to the construction schedule.

3

Tracking

We track progress and compare it with the model.

4

Close-out

We deliver the as-built model and final documentation.

Frequently asked questions

About BIM on site.

Does it help if construction has already started?

Yes. We can start from the current state of the site and support the upcoming work packages.

Do I need a BIM model?

Not necessarily. If the project is in CAD, we can develop the base model first.

Do you go on site?

Yes. We arrange visits based on the site's location and add drone or 3D scanner surveys when needed.

What is 4D simulation?

It's the project's construction sequence linked to the schedule. It lets you review planning and explain the project with animations.

Have a project under construction or about to start?

Tell us about the project and its stage. We'll propose how to use BIM on site.
